Abilities: Temper
While not as flashy as the abilities of other Orphans, Temper isn't one to be overlooked. Everyone grows stronger by surviving to fight another day, but Samantha takes it to the extreme. The more intense the damage she suffers in a battle with the opponent, should she survive, the higher her physical capabilities are permanently increased. It provides her with an edge in facing the same opponent again. Unless they're a freak of nature, failing to kill Samantha once is a mistake they won't live to regret.
Physical Mutations
Samantha initially manifested three defining physical alterations; Four large tendrils of bone and muscle tipped with scythe-like blades protruded from her back, a secondary set of sharper and denser teeeth, and within the tendrils venom sacks that produced a toxin capable of temporarily crippling the regenerative properties of other Orphans. Following her near death experience in October of 2016, she was placed through The Process again and had an interesting reaction due to her primary ichor typing and her ability Temper. Her skeleton, tendrils, secondary set of teeth chemically mutated into the organic metal other Orphans such as Barricade posses.

It provides her with an edge in facing the same opponent again. Unless they're a freak of nature, failing to kill Samantha once is a mistake they won't live to regret.
Samantha Gray was acquired by the foundation in the summer of 2014.
Before the foundation acquired Samantha, she was in the custody of a foster care service. Bouncing from home to home, she made little to no impression, primarily because no one took the time to engage with her and bring her out of her shell. Once taken, to the foster system, it was as though she never existed in the first place.
Before the events of "The Stray", an event referred to as the "October Breach" took place. During this event, Samantha attempted to escape but was slowed down after a brief clash with another Orphan. Before she could get away, Commander Diana Gray's forces unleashed a hail fire of munitions on the girl.
It was believed that after being gunned down, Samantha was dead. Though entirely unbeknownst to Diana, and a majority of Site Nine's staff, the foundation administrator Maximilian ensured she would survive. Samantha would then suffer a second grueling transformation, as her skeleton and previously organic tendrils were replaced with metal substitutes.
