   Orphan Veil: The Stray is a young adult novel about a strange little girl named Samantha. With four mechanical scythe-tipped tendrils stemming from her back, her monstrous appearance is enough to scare anyone away. Anyone except for a young farm girl named Willow, whose heart is too big to turn a blind eye to Sam's troubles. Together, they go on the run, doing their best to avoid the clutches of a cruel organization named the Orphanage Foundation, which seeks to recapture and kill Samantha.
